Noted journalist ALAN GELL was among the media last week at the Texas Motor Speedway. It was the annual Spring Roundup conducted by the Texas Auto Writers. Journalists took test drives of over 50 vehicles on the track, off-track, and around the outer loops around the location. One vehicle of note was the 2014 Toyota Camry hybrid, which was competing in the Green Vehicle category. Gell stopped during a test-drive and recorded an interview with RICK MARTINEZ. Rick is the Car Model Line Manager for Gulf States Toyota. Our test-drive car was the SE model, powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine. It was painted Attitude Black, Dark Charcoal and had a bottom sticker price of $29,045. The EPA rating was 40 mpg.
