Community with Marie Lazzara

On this show, Marie interviews people from the business and nonprofit sectors as well as others who involve themselves in unique contributions to their communities. Joining Marie is Laura Warren, director of marketing from Clearbrook, an Arlington Heights-based nonprofit that provides services and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Taking a break from the 4th of July weekend, we come back by having Anna Van Handel, Associate Director of the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk campaign and Jennifer Dumrauf, a local participant of the Step Out Walk event in Buffalo Grove. She also will share her personal story about her son Tyler who has Type 1 Diabetes. The ladies will also talk with Amy Van Polen who is involved in resource development Bridge Communities, a Glen Ellyn-based nonprofit which helps homeless families have a brighter future.
